The European airline giant saw net profit between between January and September fall 6 percent to $2 billion (€1.7 billion). Revenue during the same period rose 1 percent to $30.6 billion (€26.9 billion). The Eurowings unit posted a loss of $74 million (€65 million) during the first nine months, compared with a profit of $164 million (€144 million) in the prior year.
